HKA Professors are presenting their ideas for virtual teaching collaborations with you. Amongst others, the following topics will be included:

VR-Campus

The VR-Campus is a self-developed and hosted social immersive learning environment for teaching that can be entered and interacted with using head-mounted displays (HMD). We use the VR-Campus to teach up to 60 students from four different universities remotely.

PEDAGOGICAL CONVRESATIONAL TUTOR

The Pedagogical Conversational Tutor supports students and lectures by providing a conversational interface, similar to ChatGPT, to course content and is able to not answer questions but also to test the knowledge of the students. In contrast to ChatGPT, our system is self-hosted, the correctness of answers verified and conform with Germany’s data privacy protection laws.

PRODUCTION-CULTURAL BIORHYTHM

The collective productivity of a company's workforce follows a so-called production-cultural biorhythm, an individual fingerprint of each organization. In joint events, this fact will be illuminated from different disciplines: Engineers=technology, Human Resources=leadership+culture, Finance=economic importance, DataScience=identification of patterns. In sum, it is about the field of behavioral economics. A plenary discussion of up to four professors.

JOINT SEMINAR ON SENSORS

Contribution Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences: Magnetic sensors. Lecture on various sensors with additional contributions from students in the form of presentations. The focus at HKA is on magnetic sensors: basics of magnetism and Hall-, inductive, XMR-sensors and applications.

FIND MORE INFORMATION AND REGISTER FOR THE EVENT

The primary goal of this event is to facilitate networking opportunities for professors, fostering global connections and igniting innovative teaching partnerships. We aim to bring together like-minded educators who are passionate about creating transformative learning experiences for students. During the event, you will have the chance to meet professors from diverse disciplines, cultures, and backgrounds.

Feel free to share this invitation with faculty members and colleagues that might be interested.

Engage in lively conversations, share your teaching philosophies, and explore potential collaborations. Together, we'll aim to find suitable partner professors for tandem-teaching a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) course in the future.

We're looking forward to meeting you!
